This blog is meant to be a platform to all the bands who play epic, battle metal, and it doesn't get much more epic than the Yorkshire natives Bal-Sagoth with their end of the century effort, Power Cosmic.If you don't know them yet, do yourself a favour and get it now.
Are they black or power metal ? I don't know and I don't care as they are a fucking amazing band.
One of a kind if there was ever anyone who deserved that title, plus Bal-Sagoth claim to be inspired by Robert E. Howard, my favourite writer as far as epic and battles go. Not to mention that they were sponsored by some swords manufacturer...As I said, nothing is more epic than this.
